(Please note that as of January 2020, a private marketing group assumed responsibility for the content and development of the Goldzilla website. I managed content and development from 2014 through 2019.)
RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest) has rescued and re-homed more than 9,000 Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes since 1985. Goldzilla, RAGOM’s largest annual fundraising event, ranks among the highest attended—by both humans and dogs—of its kind in the United States.
I updated the information architecture, rewrote all copy, and built a new responsive website for Goldzilla using a WordPress template and custom CSS. I managed this site and content from 2014 through 2019 as Goldzilla expanded the activities it offered to its growing fan base.
The number of site pages doubled between 2014 and 2019 to provide more information about RAGOM’s mission and how donations/pledges are used, as well as details about the Walk for Rescue, new activities, vendors, parking/shuttles, and sponsoring the event.
